We lock our doors 2min before class.
If it's your first visit at 2nd Floor Yoga, please make sure you come at least 10minutes before class.
Since our teachers also take care of the welcome desk, we would appreciate if you didn't come last minute so we can start class on time. Thank you for your cooperation.
We recommend our guests book online, in the case of any class cancellations (illness, holidays). That way we can contact everyone who signed up for class, so you don't show up to an empty space. As our classes are growing, this will also save you a spot.
It is not recommended to practice yoga or any of our classes on a full stomach - we suggest waiting 2 hours after a big meal or one hour after a light snack.
We only allow drinking bottles in the studio that can be closed, to avoid any spillage. Thanks.
We charge $2 for our mats, but supply all other props for you, free of charge.
You are also welcome to bring your own mat or purchase a mat for $39 at our studio.
Wear comfortable clothes that do not restrict your movement. Please dress appropriately and respectfully being mindful of your fellow students. Any Yoga styles such as Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Hatha are practiced barefoot. However, bring socks and a warm layer/top for the final relaxation at the end of class (savasana). In Yin Yoga, your body temperature will drop, so bring a jumper and feel free to wear socks throughout the entire practice if you feel like it.
We recommend you register with MINDbody here and download the App to your phone, so you can make an easy check in, reserve your spot, make easy payments and check on the online timetable to confirm availability before attending any class in case a teacher is sick or on holiday.

Workshops, don’t run weekly. Therefore, when looking through the MINDbody timetable you might want to check two or three weeks ahead or check our Workshops, News section or our Facebook page. Your more than welcome to send us an email with the subject: Please inform me on upcoming workshops.
We have male and female changing rooms but NO showers.

Besides our "Yoga for Beginners" classes, you may also join our Yin Yoga , Pregnancy Yoga , Yoga Nidra , as well as our Meditation & Dance sessions which are all suitable for beginners and advanced yogis.
Please confirm with your doctor that you are in good physical condition and are capable of engaging in exercise without detriment to your health, safety or physical condition.
