New Year’s Retreat in the Swiss Alps For German & English Speakers 

As the year comes to an end, leave behind the holiday stress and step into a nourishing 7-day retreat nestled in the beautiful Swiss Alps. This is your time to relax, recharge, and reflect on the past year, while setting a clear, authentic path for 2024. Meet the person you wanna become an join a supportive community of like-minded people as we practice conscious communication, mindfulness, relaxation, mind-body awareness, slowing down, authentic relating, stillness, grounding, self-care, community building and still lots of playfulness and fun.

This nourishing retreat provides space for self-exploration, authenticity and self love, helping you find clarity and inner stillness. With this newfound wisdom, you can make empowered choices to create 2025 in your best interest.

WHAT AWAITS YOU:

• Relaxation & Inner Peace: Digital detox, silent meals, meditation, nature walks or moments of stillness, designed to help you unwind, and deeply relax.
• Mindfulness & Movement: Engage in yoga, meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness practices to calm the mind and expand your awareness.
• Detox Challenge: Immerse yourself in a holistic digital detox and rejuvenate your body and mind. We kindly ask that alcohol and cigarettes be left behind, and while coffee is optional, we encourage you to fully embrace this detox experience. Use this opportunity to release old habits, reset your system, and cultivate a new level of awareness and vitality.
• Emotional Release: Allow yourself to release everything that has built up throughout 2024, creating more inner space. By letting go of emotional baggage, you open up to greater clarity, lightness, and new possibilities for the year ahead.
• Authenticity & Community: Practice authentic and conscious communication, receive reflections from others, and build meaningful connections.
• Creative & Fun Activities: Dive into jam sessions, dance, and theater practices that encourage self-expression and joy.

During a cacao ceremony, we will connect with our inner desires, manifest intentions, and plant seeds for the life we consciously want to create in 2025.
• New Year’s Celebration: We’ll also create a special New Year’s program together, filled with moments of joy, laughter, creativity, and togetherness, with uplifting and fun activities to celebrate the arrival of 2025. Let yourself be surprised!
• Nourishing meals: Delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes crafted to nourish both body and soul, offering wholesome flavors that support your well-being.
• Massage: Optional – participate in massage exchanges or book a professional massage for an additional fee.
• Free Time: Enjoy opportunities for community building, personal reflection, journaling, reading, or simply soaking in the stunning scenery. Take leisurely walks or hikes to connect with nature and rejuvenate or explore the many amenities at the Kerenzerberg Sports Center, including saunas and an indoor pool, just a 3-minute walk from us.

Check-In: December 28th, from 10:00 AM to no later than 1:00 PM 

** Helpers & Assistants: latest arrival is December 27th, by 1:00 PM. 

Start: December 28th, at 2:00 PM. The first meal is at 7:00 PM. 

End: January 3rd, at 4:30 PM ** Helpers/Assistants stay until January 4, at 5:00 PM.

INVESTMENT 

The cost of your ticket includes 3 meals per day and accommodation at our venue, excluding fees (2.3% of the transaction amount + 0.30 CHF):

• Dormitory: CHF 1111.-
• Double room: CHF 1444.- (You will share the room with someone and have your own bed – first to book gets the double bed.)
• Private room: CHF 1777.-
• For couples in a private room: CHF 1300.- each - Book 1 Private Room Ticket and pay the difference on arrival (bed size: 140x200 cm).
• Helper Ticket: CHF 888.-  **Arrival one day earlier, and departure one day later are manditory. There are no additional costs for the extra two nights. However, meals before and after the event are not included. Please contact us to discuss all the details after you booked your ticket. Thanks.

Hotel nearby with private bathroom: Your ticket, including meals, costs CHF 1100.-, plus your hotel accommodation. Depending on the hotel you book. PAYMENT PROCESS: 

The ticket price is split into two payments: the first payment online and the second upon your arrival.

ADDITIONAL NIGHTS AND COSTS BEFORE/AFTER THE EVENT: 

You can check in one day before the event, no earlier than 3:00 PM, and the latest check-out would be 2 days after the course, by 11:00 AM. Additional nights will be paid upon your arrival.

• Dormitory: CHF 49.- per person/night
• Couples: CHF 69.-/night (only one double bed in the dormitory)
• Double room: CHF 69.- per person/night
• Private room: CHF 99.- per person/night
• Couples: CHF 120.-/night
• Own van: CHF 29.- per person/night, couples CHF 39.-/night (space for 2 vans)

All prices are in CHF, excluding tourist tax (CHF 3.-/day) and without meals.

MEALS after the course: 

After the event, there is often the option to be pampered by the chef for 1-2 days. Costs will be settled directly with the chef.

COOKING: If you wish to use the upstairs kitchen after your stay, there is a charge of CHF 10.-/day. The kitchen can only be used after the course, not before. There is a small shop nearby for groceries, but it is closed on Sundays.

THE VENUE: EQUILIBRA – In the Here and Now: an international education center for mind, body, and soul, located in Filzbach, in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by majestic mountains. The view of the beautiful Lake Walen and its waterfalls, along with many wonderful hiking trails right outside the door, invites you to relax. In the 1920s, the building was a silk factory, later a mini-golf course, before it was converted into three apartments. Today, it has been lovingly renovated, preserving the charm of the building.

ACCOMMODATION: The accommodations at Equilibra are on-site and offer enough privacy and space for your comfort. 

We offer two single rooms and one double room with two beds, all with shared bathrooms.

GOOD TO KNOW:

• Please check your email inbox/spam folder after purchasing to see if you have received our confirmation email with further important information. If not, it’s important to contact us.
• 1-2 weeks before the course, we will send you a welcome letter with all the details you need.
• The course is suitable for both English and German speakers.
• We practice intermittent fasting. If you must eat something in the morning, fruits will be available, or you can speak with Mahara.
• We offer delicious vegetarian cuisine, with vegan options upon request, and can accommodate dietary restrictions.
• There will be the possibility to additionally book a tour with my naighbour to build your own Iglu and sleep in it for 1 night. This is optional and depends on how many would want to do it.

• 9:15 - 11:30 AM: Body practices (Yoga, Breathwork, Authentic Movement, Dance...)
• 11:30 AM: Brunch
• 12:00 PM: Break (go for a walk, get to know each other, read, help in the kitchen...)
• 2:30 PM: Workshop
• 4:30 PM: Tea & snacks
• 5:30 PM: Relaxation exercises & Sharing Circles
• 7:00 PM: Dinner
• From 8:30 PM: Optional massage exchanges/Jam sessions...
• From 10:00 PM: Silence
• From 10:30 PM: Lights out, good night (except on Dec 31)
